I got a few days off work and Dane and I went to Oregon. It was so beautiful I have been to Oregon twice now and still want to go back there is still tons to see.
This waterfall is in Crater Lake National Park. Crater Lake was so fun! There were lots of mosquitos so make sure to bring repellent. Also you can book boat rides on the lake but you can only do it twenty four hours in advance and you have to go there in person to book it.
The water was so breathtakingly blue!
We then headed towards the coast. We followed the Umpqua River for a really long ways. I still cannot believe how beautiful it was!
We then made it to the coast! Here we are at Cape Cove near the Heceta Light House.
Dane is at Thor's Well at Cape Perpetua. Cape Perpetua was really beautiful with a lot of little trails to go on.
We then went to the Lewis and Clark National Historical Park. That was neat to learn more about them. (I need to learn on more on them) If we had planned it more in advance I think I would have maybe tried to kayak there. We went on a hike near there it was so gorgeous. There was also hardly anybody on the trails it was really nice! It was a temperate rain forest and the perfect temperature!
Dane and I then went to Cape Disappointment in Washington (it is another place Lewis and Clark went to) There was a lighthouse it had a lot more people than some of the others places we went to. I thought the name was so funny. There also was a place called Dismal Niche :)
I loved Oregon. I feel like there are a million more places I need to see there.
